Beautiful Ozark County is an outstanding
recreational area; a virtual haven for hunting,
fishing, canoeing and enjoying wildlife! In addition
to Bull Shoals and Norfork lakes, both Bryant Creek and
the North Fork of White River are prime fishing
waters, well-suited for float trips.

The area lakes offer a wide variety of water
sporting activities: swimming, boating, water
sliing, scuba diving, and, of course, that cherished
American pastime-- fishing! Ozark County waters
offer excitement for even the youngest fisherman. Rainbow
trout and small & largemouth ball join crappie, bluegill, channel
cat and flathead catfish to offer the challenge of thrilling catches!

White-tailed deer and wild turkey abound in the
woods of this hunter's paradise. There are bow and gun
seasons in the spring and fall in Ozark County.

The Beauty of the land and the vigor of it's
recreational opportunities are matched only by
the pride that folks here feel for their County. This
pride is very present in the 5 historic grist mills that call
Ozark County home. These mills are scenic attractions that
beckon you to turn back the pages of time where the rich heritage
of the area and its people have been preserved
for future generations to enjoy.
